I teach middle school. I am in my late(r) twenties. A group of my girls in one of my classes are obsessed with Twilight and I started the school teasing them and rolling my eyes at them BUT one of them asked me to please read the book...so I did.

OH- BOY - DID -I!!!!

Soooo, here we are at the end of the year and I am just as obsessed (maybe more) than they were.

I love the series. My fave is Eclipse. I have an unhealthy love of RPattz and here I am.

That's such a cute story! My mom works in a junior high, and she has a Twilight poster up in her office.

My mom actually begged me to read Twilight for months. I kept putting it off since it didn't sound like my thing at all. I love to read, but I thought this was a "teen" book, and I didn't even read those when I was a teen.

I finally decided to read it when she got us tickets to go to the midnight showing with her. I finished it literally hours before I saw the movie.

I finished the book in a couple hours, which isn't unusual for me, but Twilight was different. I felt like it was happening to me, and when I was done, I immediately wanted to start over and read it again, which I have never done with a book. I talked about it all day to anyone who would listen, and then talked about it endlessly after that. My poor BF got so tired of hearing me, he made me a blog lol, and that's where I'm at today.

You know...you two are the ONLY Texas Twilighters I know...well besides my real life friends, but I wouldn't call them Twilighters. More like Twitolerators! I think I love you. (In a very non-weird stalker way, of course!)

Should there a team name? Cuz why not totally go balls out on this one. Team TwiTex? Twilitex? Texlights? I don't know. Scratch that idea. Next subject....

YAYY! Our Team TwiTex<--(?) is growing. We'll need to chat with Amcas, I think we need a name change. scratch Sooo, are you too starting to notice the Texas summer approaching?? During the summer months I desperately wish I lived in Forks, and to be that much closer to the Cullens, of course!

Yes, it's officially too hot for me now. I grew up on the beach and used to love it but now...I prefer highs in the low 80's with very low humidity but I think this humidity is what keeps all the Texas girls looking good !! Our skin is very hydrated. LOL.
