Breakfast conversation with the family Easter morning

Spiderman was on tv this morning (very Eastery show... whatever) and I mentioned how I love Tobey McGuire as Spiderman. I looked over at the tv just as he was looking longingly at Mary Jane, and his face nailed the emotion. I mused that it was so sweet how he longed for her, but couldn't tell her how much he loved her.

To which my 7 year old son replied, "Like Edward?" (think I talk Twilight much?) I said, "Yes, exactly like Edward!"

When my daughter asked why Edward couldn't tell Bella he loved her, I slipped into Twilight dissertation mode, but was abruptly cut off when I looked over at dh who was shooting DAGGERS at me (must've had that "i heart you, Edward" smile plastered on my face.)

DH is a big Underworld/Kate Beckinsale fan, so I quickly told him that Michael Sheen was cast for Aro- the same guy who is Kate's baby daddy. His eyes lit up and he said, "You mean the older English guy? He is an AMAZING actor!"

He then went on to say what a great move it was for Chris Weitz to cast him and maybe now New Moon will gain some credibility. yada yada... All I heard was what a great actor he is, so now I'm STOKED!!

And THAT was my Easter morning conversation....

At least you can bring it up in conversation, I have to still stay in the closet! My sister-n-law knows about my Twilight addiction, but I'm losing hope in "converting" her into my alternate world!
My nieces and nephews spent the night over at my house and my niece kept asking me what I was doing on the computer. "Talking with friends", I said. She saw my twilight DVD. "Auntie Sue, you like Twilight?" To which I replied "Ummm, yeah." She said "Cool!" She's only 8 yrs. old.
I still have hope.

It's true. After the whole Pocket Edward intervention in my household, every Twilight conversation is a strategic chess move.

I need to find dh a pocket Kate Beckinsale to loom over Edward looming over Speed Racer. Let me know if ya'll happen to see one!
